Please note that a few rules have been revised & enforced by Saudi Consulate in Mumbai / Delhi, below are the details for your reference and kind information.
Medical
As per the revised rule effective from 1st January 2010, the Candidate’s finger print is recorded at the GAMCA office and his passport verified for authenticity. Then Candidate is allotted a GAMCA medical centre where he under goes the medical check.
Previously, the Recruitment Agency used to recommend the panel doctor’s name to the candidate and accordingly the candidates were doing the medical test through GAMCA approved panel doctor.
*Same rule has been enforced in Delhi
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
Mumbai
As announced by Saudi Consulate, from 25th January 2010, the candidate has to obtain a “Police Clearance Certificate” with a police clearance endorsement on his passport from the respective regional passport office subsequently candidates have to travel to respective places to get the PCC.
Delhi
As per the Saudi Embassy for visa stamping candidates are required to submit Original Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) which has to be attested from Ministry of External Affairs (Delhi).
Exit proof
A candidate who comes to India on exit visa can travel back to Saudi Arabia but the consulate needs Original/copy of Exit Proof (Certificate) from Jawwazat office,
However if he returned on re-entry visa he has to complete his stay in India for a period of 2 years then only his visa could be stamped.
** Same rule has been enforced in Delhi
Attestation of Degree / Diploma Certificate
Degree has to be attested by
1. Respective university from where the certificate has issued.
2. Concerned HRD department in the state from where candidate has completed his graduation or professional studies.
(e.g. if the candidate is working in Mumbai & holding a degree certificate from Delhi, Calcutta, Bangalore, Chennai etc than he has to travel to respective state to attest his degree certificate)
3. Ministry of External Affairs at New Delhi
4. Further, the Cultural Attaché at New Delhi provide their attestation on the degree certificate.(requires original offer letter from the sponsor duly attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce & Ministry of external affair)
5. Finally after all the above attestation, the Saudi Embassy provides its attestation on the degree certificate
In case of diploma certificate, the same needs attestation through the Notary/Government Administration department (GAD)
Time required: 25 to 30 days
* Same is applicable in Delhi

Getting KSA License
Gettin a Driving license is easy unless you know driving well, in KSA.
First compulsion is you should have a valid Iqama.
Then you should know which is your nearest driving school of your area, you can ask your freinds and colleages.
Documents Req: Iqama, Sponsor Letter, Photographs, Medical Certificate, Passport copy, if you have your country license then you can attach it there won't be any problem with it.
There are two options in getting a license.
Appear for the final test if you know driving well.
Or
Join driving school before applying for the license this facility is provided by the same authority in the premises where you will apply for license.
Timing: If you appear directly for finalt test then you will get your license within one week.
If you join driving school then it will take 15 days to get license.
Cost: Approx 500 Sr total to get a license if you appear directly for the final test.
Approx 1000 SR total for getting a license including training fees.
Medical test is required to obtain a license you can get it from the facility provided by the license autority in their premises or through private hospital. 60 SR in Driving school and approx 40 SR in private hospitals. It basically involves your blood test and eye test.
Final test is conducted in the morning and license is given same day or next day.
You have to deposit license fee amount thorugh bank transfer some guys are there in the driving school which transfers the amount bank to bank and takes 20 to 30 Sr for the service or you can transfer it from your bank account using ATM.
