Car Registration - Istimara -What are the Documents Needed

This are the requirements for getting an Ishtimara for Individuals----Business people have to submit other documents as well.



  • The national identity card




  • A copy of the national identity card




  • Iqama for non Saudi




  • ِA copy of Iqama for non-Saudi




  • The car license




  • MVPI certificate




  • A copy of the driving license insurance card




  • Pay the fees




  • An identification letter endorsed by the chamber of commerce for non-Saudis and companies and establishments




  • Personal attendance is not required




  • An authorization not signed by witnesses




  • An authorization on regular paper

      You need to have valid Istamara (Vehicle Registration) to drive that vehicle in Saudi Arabia. Driving vehicle without Istamara is a big risk. Procedure to renew Istamara has become very simple now days. I have explained the procedure in this link

      Please help!!!
      What kinds of construction equipment or vehicles should be registered? Please let me know the governmental regulation or guide if available. I happen to hear that Royal Decree 3125 guide vehicle registration. Is it right? If yes, can I see what they are? Please help me!
